Each piece begins in density—built slowly through acrylic and colored pencil—until the surface holds a rich, physical presence. Through his layering process- Ross transforms that compression into atmosphere, revealing a luminous depth that seems to glow from within his artworks. 💫💚 This green work, titled, Climate of the Mind, is all about that quiet luminosity—where structure softens, and color and light become the subject. With yesterday’s successful launch of Artemis II, the four-person crew will go on a 685,000-mile, 10-day journey around the moon, also known as a lunar fly-by. 🚀💫🌕 It has been 50+ years since the last time humans were on the moon, which was when Apollo 17 left in December 1972.
