This is what we love to do at District Gallery! Bringing world class artists to Cleveland and connecting them to the community! We are thrilled to announce in an act of incredible generosity that artist Hunt Slonem @huntslonem, after meeting University Hospital’s curator Thomas Huck during our May 2025 art opening last year, has donated several paintings to @uhhospitals_cle to be placed throughout their vibrant art collection with the intentions to share in the healing power of art! 🖼️ 🏥💫❤️

The donated works, spanning Slonem’s larger scale works on canvas, represent some of the most celebrated pieces from Slonem’s distinguished career. Known for his modern expressionistic and heavily textured style, this collection of works depicts several of his iconic subjects including Rabbits, Butterflies and Parrots. Slonem’s work is featured in over 250 leading museums and countless private collections around the world. @huntslonem

“This remarkable donation reflects the profound connection between art and healing,” said University Hospitals Art Curator, Thomas Huck, Jackie and Fred C. Rothstein MD Endowed Director of Art Curation. “We are deeply honored by Hunt Slonem’s and Henry and Pat Shane’s generosity. These works will inspire, comfort, and uplift all who walk through our doors. I am deeply grateful to Cleveland’s District Gallery for the personal introduction to Hunt Slonem during his recent exhibition. Learning of UH’s deep commitment to integrating visual art into our healthcare facilities inspired Hunt to offer this generous gift of art to the UH Fine Art Collection.”

On view now at UH Main Campus in the Trudy Wiesenberger Gallery. 💫🖼️

Colour has become an exciting new chapter in the world of London based photographer David Yarrow — and sophisticated collectors are taking notice. Known globally for his cinematic black-and-white imagery, Yarrow’s recent limited-edition colour releases from Aspen and Palm Beach reveal a bold evolution in contemporary photography: vibrant, narrative-driven works that blend fashion, luxury lifestyle, Americana, wildlife and storytelling into highly collectible visual theatre. 📸🖼️

From the iconic Aspen series at Woody Creek Tavern and Hotel Jerome to the glamorous Palm Beach narratives including The Luncheon and his lush tropical tableaux, these works are more than photographs — they are cultural time capsules capturing aspiration, nostalgia and place with the storytelling spin of Yarrow’s well known wit.

For art collectors, David Yarrow’s appeal lies in several key factors: museum-scale presentation, meticulously controlled limited editions, global brand recognition, and an instantly recognizable visual language. His photographs command attention in beautifully designed interiors while also offering strong long-term collectibility through rarity and international demand. The move into colour further expands the emotional and decorative versatility of his work, making these newer releases especially compelling for contemporary homes, hospitality collections and legacy art acquisitions. 📸💫🖼️

At District Gallery, we are seeing tremendous interest in Yarrow’s colour narratives — particularly the Aspen and Palm Beach works that celebrate iconic American luxury destinations through a lens that feels both editorial and timeless.

Prices upon request. Works are quoted in GBP and converted to USD on the day of purchase.
