Kasumi’s practice centers on moving-image works created for film, immersive installations, and large-scale architectural media surfaces. These works often take the form of loop-based visual environments or cinematic sequences, where layered imagery, digital distortions, and evolving pattern systems unfold over time.

The collage, glitch-based works and silkscreen prints extend this moving-image practice into physical form. Often originating from sampled video frames, displacement maps, and digitally generated distortions, these works translate temporal image systems into composed images. What appears as collage or print can be understood as a moment drawn from a larger field of motion.
