Daniel Arsham

Cleveland-born, New York-based artist Daniel Arsham straddles the line between art, architecture, and performance. Structural experiment, historical inquiry, and satirical wit all combine in Arsham’s ongoing interrogation of the real and the imagined. His installations and objects conjure up a kind of mythical contemporary archaeology.

Arsham’s work belongs in many permanent collections and has been in exhibitions around the world. In addition to his fine art practice, Arsham has collaborated with brands such as Adidas, Dior, Porsche, and has worked with the Cleveland Cavaliers as creative director. In 2007 Arsham cofounded the art and architecture collaborative Snarkitecture with Alex Mustonen.
